Tapering (part 2)

Sunday was an ideal day for a short, quiet ride. The good weather would bring out a big crowd of riders and John was taking the fast ones away separately so it was bound to be a gentle Callander for coffee and home. Perfect to just to stretch the legs.

I rolled up at the peak to be met by Alison (it's not a race!) Lunn and nobody else. After a one hour coffee/route planning meeting we decided to just do Sherrifmuir the short way - from Bridge of Allan. The coffee must have been spiked.

Blowing up 10 minutes into a ride is never good but hey IT'S NOT A RACE!

Recovery and more coffee then promises of taking it easier for the next couple of weeks. After all IT'S NOT A RACE!!!!
