Day 5 - Under the weather

We started the day expecting the worst weather but it came to nothing - thankfully!

Alasdair, Alison and David started the day feeling a bit under the weather. Was it caused by a hard cycle on Thursday? Certainly not, more like six bottles of wine, vodka and bed at 12.30! Shocking!!!Respect to them for getting through today without too much wingeing, although Alison went a few shades of green! .

Highlights of today.
No rain, veggie samosa and hot chocolates.
Had a great stop at Chris (my brother) and Jen's house timed nicely.
The support car coped well with the change in personnel; Stuart P aka "The Apprentice" (some iron man thing) should reach full competency by wednesday under John S's guidance. I wonder what tomorrow's challenge is for the support team. Today the "laundry" team beat a Ferarri through Warrington - obviously, it must have been nicked.

More updates tomorrow when we are safely back in Scotland yeee haa.

  1. Glad to hear all is going well! Especially after the rain of Saturday. Now I do need to ask a question - you say "Respect to them for getting through today without too much wingeing" - do I detect the first hissy fit of the trip??? - Go on do tell us who it was - we still have a book going here you know ;o)....can't wait to have you back in Scotland...you're doing great :o)
